Abdominal pain...

My period is about a day late, this isn't going to be a post about being afraid I'm pregnant because I'm not worried about that on my first late day...

I've been taking my birth control at the same time for a couple of months, boyfriend and I are sexually actice, I've noticed this past week leading up to the date my period is due that I've been having a lot of abdominal pain. It's not my usual cramping, I'm more bloated than normal and any sort of pressure on my stomach hurts a lot.

Is this normal? Not really used to that sort of feeling
