Who picks the ring???

Let me know what you think! My best friend thinks it's wrong for my bf to want to pick out a ring that he likes. I don't think it's wrong at all. Opinions???

If we're talking about engagement rings your fiancé should know you well enough to know what you like so I think the guy should pick it out or whoever is paying for it

Before we got engaged, me and my husband would go ring shopping together. I would pick out what I liked giving him ideas but ultimately I left the decision up to him. The ring he gave me was better than anything I could have picked out. His mother, at the very last minute, gave him her ring to give to me.

I don't think my bf could know exactly which ring I want so I wouldn't leave it up to him. He might know the style and look I want but there is one specific one and although I'm sure he'd pick a beautiful ring, when it comes to an engagement ring which is the most important piece of jewelry you'll wear, and probably most expensive, I'd want the exact one I want and wouldn't leave it up to him lol. Before my friend and her husband got engaged, they were talking about marriage and she went and got the serial number of the ring she wanted and gave it to him so he could have it for whenever he wanted to propose. The proposal was still a surprise.

We swung by Jared one day so he could see what I liked; and we learned alot about diamonds. He remembered my face when I tried on a princess cut. He got a different style from a private jeweler who didn't overcharge like Jared and I love it!!!! He picked out the wedding band too, when he proposed he already had the wedding band at home
