chain mail

Have any of you ever been the recipient of chain mail but you don't know that its chain mail . Anyway I was the recipient of chain mail once and I think it was my friend and I don't know what to do about it. My brother and her brother are friends an I don't want to wreak their friendship by being all jugemental about it in case it wasn't her who sent the chain mail .
