There's a fine line between loving your mom and showing affection and being up her ass 24/7 none stop. For example my fiancée stops by to see his mom EVERY SINGLE DAY before work daily, and on the weekends he stops by like 3 times. Also does whatever she asks, and to me that is VERY unattractive and just too much. It causes fights between us because everything has to go her way and he tries to help her get her damn way. I seriously can't stand it.

I find it unattractive. Moms should raise their sons (especially when they're older) to be independent. My husband never did his laundry and cleaned his room. But he knows now. 😇 he used to be a lot worse but I think she's realized he has a new woman to "take care" of him. He will even cook for himself if I don't feel well. His mom used to cook different meals every night for all her kids. Yeah, no.. not me.

I love it when guys have good relationships with their family. My boyfriend is great with his siblings and is close to both parents. But I wouldnt call him a mama's boy. If he was we probably wouldn't be dating. I've seen the damage a MIL can do (I've also seen how great they can be) and I need to know that should something happen my boyfriend is going to put me first. I don't want to be second to someone's mother.

Hubby is a mamas boy in the best way possible. They have a really great relationship and since his dad wasn't in the picture and he's the oldest they have always looked out for each other and make sure each other are doing ok. Sometimes they're like teenage girls and they could just sit talking with each other and giggling for hours. I feel so blessed to have him and know that the relationship with his mom is a HUGE part of who he is as a man. She will tell him how not to treat a woman because that's what his dad did and literally I am his Queen!! I'm a lucky lady

My boyfriend calls his mom nicks names such as" sweetie pies, sugar, mamma pants" and more. He cuddles her as if he was cuddling me watching a movie. He still hugs and kisses her the time randomly. She still cooks a meal for him everyday and cleans this room and does his Loundry . I tryed to do his loundry once and he got mad at me saying that's his moms job. Every time we argue he threatens to tell his mom. I feel like at 27 it should be be this bad. And yes he still lives with her and doesn't pay rent or anything

It's a thin line. If he really doesn't like his mother (and she isn't totally awful), I take it as a bad sign. If he's clingy and all 'mom this, mom that' all the time, that's not appealing either.
