how to help while he mourns

My fiancé recently lost his dad about two weeks ago. He's only 29, his dad was not old early 50s..unfortunately septic infection from diabetes brought him to his end. It has been so difficult - I too, loved his dad very much but I cannot fathom or begin to understand how my honey feels. I've been attentive and his shoulder to lean on, he often compliments me on strong I make him and how I am his rock. Wanted to know from anyone's experiences how else I could further assist in his healing process. Thank you ladies xoxoxo baby dust and love to all.
