Still getting a flashing smiley but no peak!

I have tested for 8 days now and on the first day the opk was negative the. Every day since it has been flashing and I still haven't gotten a peak smiley. I have 2 more tests left and I'm confused. Did I just not ovulate this month? Did I miss it? Or did the test just not pick it up? (Clear blue advanced digital) I have gotten a peak day the first time I used these a few months back but I don't use opks every month.
