Breech 34 weeks

So I've been wondering why for the last couple months it feels like the baby only kicks deep into my cervix and low back, and the doctor confirmed that the baby is breech. Whenever people ask if they can feel the baby I have to say no cause all the damn kicks are basically at my pubic bone!!! I'm 34 weeks now and feel pretty confident that he has no intention of moving on his own because he's been stuck like this for weeks. The doctor is going to admit me for a manual version at 37 weeks, does anyone have experience with this? I've heard it's painful but I want to try it if it means avoiding the c section!

Dr. Says he doesn't recommend vaginal breech birth for me because I'm very small and this is my first pregnancy so there's no way to know if I can birth a large baby/baby's butt.
