How long did you wait to tell?

Question

My doctors appointment is today! I've had 10+ positive pregnancy tests and I'm currently 3 weeks and 5 days. I'm going to the doctors today to gets bloods done to make sure I'm healthy and of course to verify that I am in fact pregnant!

My question to you though, is how long after you were positive you were pregnant, did you wait to tell people?
I've heard 3 months, 6 weeks and straight away. 
I told my immediate family (mother, father, mother in law, etc) once I got the 10th positive test, but I asked them to keep it to themselves till after my doctors appointment.

What did you ladies do?

I MC at 6 weeks my first pregnancy, so this second pregnancy I waited until 13 weeks to go public (only because I am so bloated, it's obvious I'm pregnant, and I couldn't hide it any longer). But if you miscarried, who would you want support from? Tell those people.

I told everyone right away and then had to tell them that I miscarried a month later. It is up to you though. To me a baby is a baby no matter what, so if you are excited then tell!

We told immediate family right away. We're both super close to our families so it was important to include them. Our first pregnancy ended in miscarriage and I felt very lucky to have the love and support from our families working through that difficult experience. With our second pregnancy we also told immediate family right away but waited until about 15 weeks to "officially announce" on social media and to extended family and friends. I'm now 36+4 weeks so the count down to baby is on!

I am waiting until my first ultrasound. I am 7 weeks now and my family is stsrting to suspect.. especially my mom lol

We wanted til wk 12 so we would have the ultrasound done. It's mainly whenever you feel comfortable

It's up to you! With my first pregnancy I told the whole world at 6 weeks and miscarried two weeks later. This time around I waited and was much more secretive. I told my mom right away as well as my fiancés mother. With everyone else I waited until 12 weeks.

I'm 14 wks tomorrow and only me and my husband knows. I was thinking announce after the first trimester because 2 miscarriages last year. Now I'm thinking of maybe announcing at the sex reveal. Not sure yet🤔

Due to sensitivity needed for my sister I haven't told anyone except hubby. I'm waiting for the first scan x

I waited until I was 10 weeks that when I had my first ultrasound to confirm that I was indeed pregnant and that the baby had a strong heart beat. With my other two I waited until I was in my second trimester.
