A head full of hair & long legs like her daddy.
We waited ever so long for her to make her arrival.
I went in Monday at 5 pm & ended up having her at 10:36 pm on Tuesday.
She put up a fight long enough that we had to force her out by c section.
Her head wasn't positioned in the right direction & the doctor couldn't turn it.
When the doctor told me we were going to have to have a c section I flipped out. I've never been so scared in my life.
Being placed on a table with a big blue curtain draped over my face was not how I planned her birth.. it was so uncomfortable & I couldn't stop shaking. As my husband held my hand telling me everything was okay, they pulled her out & I heard her first cry. That was the most relieved, most at ease I've felt in a long time. Hearing her cry made me feel amazing.
After they cleaned her off, they handed her to her daddy. I almost forgot what was going on with him sitting beside me with the biggest smile on his face telling her how perfect she was.
After everything was over & I was rolled back into recovery trying to grasp what had just happened, I thought to myself how she was worth the most uncomfortable nine months, the sleepless nights tossing & turning, the unbearable heartburn, the labor, the big scar I'll have under my stomach.
She's perfect.
