Background: my bf and I have been dating almost 2 years and lived together for like 1 1/2 years. I know we're going to get married someday, but nothing's probably going to happen until I graduate college in December.

Sooo is is acceptable to email him some links to rings I like (all under $300) and tell him it's for future reference and there's no pressure?

Would you do it differently? I keep having dreams that he proposes. Lol

I pinned them and would openly be browsing them while sitting next to him. We talked about it in person. Just make sure he goes to feel pressured if you send him a link.

Talk to him first and see where he stands on marriage. If you guys are on the same page, ask him if he'd like to see some rings you've found so he can get an idea.

In all seriousness, make sure you're both truly on the same page before you bring up rings.

I had a Pinterest board with rings I like on it. And I made sure he knew the board existed. Other than that, didn't get into specifics. It all worked out 💍

If it were me, i would talk to him about marriage and see exactly how he feels. Then, depending on the conversation, i would mention that you would like to have "some input" on your future ring. Next and only if he asks, email him the links. Men are touchy on this topic. A little tact goes a long way.

That's what I did 😂 lol we knew we wanted to get engaged so I sent him pictures and links to rings I liked so he had a general idea of what I wanted. But I ended up going with him to pick it out the day he proposed
