Gynecologist help

Okay so im 17 and i want to start going to the gynecologist to get checked regularly. I live with my dad and i know bringing it up to him will be weird to him. And if i bring it up to my mom, she'll become suspicious and think im pregnant or something. I really want to start going but i dont really know what to do or where to go..any tips or advice as to what i should do??
