How do you get your Lo to sleep or back to sleep?

Hi mommies of the world  
  How do you get your baby to go to sleep or get back into sleeping

I sometimes give breast milk 
Or cradle rock him
Hold his hands bounce him up and down

It's an struggle because babies change up so much one minute rocking can put them to sleep and the next it won't

White noise, dark room, rocking. Every time.

We learned that if he cries for 5-10 minutes he will fall asleep. I know many don't believe in cry-it-out, but 10 mins max does it for my baby. If he goes past that, I give him his paci and he will go right out, spitting it out on his own.

When my daughter wakes up I feed her then lay her back down and she goes to sleep on her own

We sleep trained our baby so when he Wakes up up I change him feed him then lay him down and he does it himself

i use to just be able to pop the boob in his mouth for a minute. He's a comfort nurser and will not take a pacifier. Here lately though he's been fussing alot. i lay him on my arm on his belly and pat his butt and that seems to soothe him when his boobie dont.
