bump is showing

I'm almost 8 weeks with my first and I already have a bump I'm finding difficult to hide, prior to this it was flabby so I just put it down to bloating but now it's perfectly round and hard. I've looked into it and normally you don't tend to show until after 12 weeks but I've already been asked at work if I'm pregnant so people are noticing, did anyone else have this?
