How long did it take you to come up with your kids name?

Question

If i have a girl, i already have a meaningful name. But im struggling with boys names.
The baby will be African Amercian, Indian, Italian, German, & Native American. I dont want an overly popular name or a stereotypical black name. I also know people that named their kids very good names so of course i cant use those haha. 
I dont want to be giving birth and not have a boys name picked out (if its a boy).

My son was born at 6:37am on a Sunday and didn't have a name until 4pm Monday! My husband was like, "babe they're giving us paperwork, this kid needs a name!" Lol

I chose my daughters name because I dreamt about giving birth and naming her and when I woke up it just felt right!

My husband and I used an app called "BabyName" and I'd recommend it to anyone. You swipe one direction on names you like, and the other direction on names you don't like, kind of like Tinder lol. Your partner would get the app too and you link your accounts. Any names you both swipe "like" on get added to a list. It doesn't have every name in the universe available, but my husband and I found it to be a great jumping off point to help us see what kind of things we both like.

First knew her name right away when they told us girl on ultrasound second wasn't till after birth she had a name. This one if it's a boy we have a name already. Another girl haven't decided on a name yet... 🤔

My daughter didn't have a name for the first 2 and half days of her life. And my son was about 24 hours without a name. We always have the middle name picked out but if the baby doesn't look like he or she would fit the name we picked we start over and look for something else.

We've had our first boy first and middle name decided for 3-4 years and our second first and middle boy name decided for 2-3 years. We finally agreed on a first name for a girl (I'm 14 weeks 2 days) and have no idea on a middle name! 😐

Honestly, when we heard the name for our son it just clicked. His name is Oliver Bleu and it fits him so perfectly. We picked a boy name within minutes of looking around this time. It just sounded right. Maybe you just haven't heard/seen the right name yet.

I have known my names forever, six years, I almost gave up and thought I could not have kids however I am now I have a jumping baby in my tummy!! And if we end up having more I know names for them too lol

We were dead set on a boy name but kept going back and forth on a girl name. Luckily that doesn't matter because we found out yesterday it's a boy! But when you hear the right name you'll know.
