Baby Shower

So my mom and sister want to throw me a baby shower. My finances mother also wants to throw one but our families live an hour apart. Should they get together and plan one where people could meet halfway? Or should they have two separate showers? I have no clue about this whole shower thing. Need some input! Thanks 😊
