Help quitting Norco (Vicodin)

My husband and I plan on ttc in April. I've been addicted to Norco for my chronic back pain/issues for about 2-3 years. I want off of them if we to start trying to get pregnant. I'm so scared. I used to take 3-4 10/325 Norcos per day. I'm now down to 1 & 1/2 to 2 per day. Starting to notice bad withdrawal symptoms. I wanted to know if anyone else went through this? How did you wean off of it? What were your withdrawal symptoms? Most importantly, how long did they last? These pills affect me differently than others. They give me way more than pain relief. They give me extremely great energy, confidence, happiness, loving, and the feeling that I could do or accomplish anything in the world. They are my happy pills and my crutch. So this is very scary for me to do.
