Is it possible for your little one month old to be always hungry after bf? Also is it possible for your milk supply run low when feeding every time? I feed every 3-4hrs but sometimes 2 hrs

Babies go through grown spurts a ton the first year.  What is probably going on is what they call cluster feeding. This is completely normal and not only increases supply, but wears a mama out.   Nursing on demand is the best way to do it.   Just feed baby what they want.   As long as you have wet and poopy diapers and they are gaining weight everything is fine.

There are a few times in a day after she BF that she is upset after and takes another ounce of expressed breast milk or formula if I don't have any. Usually I know by her cry but this is one thing about BF that causes me anxiety. You never know how much they are getting!

I'm having the same issue with my 11 day old. It's so frustrating; I feel like I can't do the one thing that is most important, feed my baby. 😭 we feed or pump every 2-3 hours. I'm taking a supplement to help produce breastmilk, I'm drinking tons of water. I don't know what else to do. He is just always hungry.

I feed on demand. Sometimes he doesn't eat a lot in one sitting and will be hungry a little bit later. If he seems hungry I feed him. Your supply is going to change depending on how often he eats.

I feed mine every 2-3 hours and have started taking Fenugreek. My husband also made me a batch of lactation cookies tonight. Make sure to drink lots of water. She sleeps most of the time in between feedings.

Try weighing bubs on an empty stomach and after completing a feed. This should set your mind at ease as to whether bubs is getting enough milk. Also, weigh bubs regularly to ensure weight gain is consistent. Average over 7 days should be about 20g a day gain (so 140g total a week).
