is debilitating. I would never tell anyone what to do with their unborn baby, but personally, knowing as much as I do about the syndrome and quality of life, I wouldn't continue, as heartbreaking as that decision would be.

When I found out I was having a girl they also told me they believed her to have trisomy 18... I was devastated. Did research and chose to not terminate. In that time they did blood work and a few more ultrasounds. Well I had gotten my blood test back two weeks later and my chances were pretty low. So even with that said I went on not knowing for sure. She is now a six year old beautiful big sister to a two year old. She didn't end up having it at all and no complications. I do not know your story but hope all goes well. Always hold on hope.

I have a friend who's son had that doctor told her to terminate the pregnancy because he knew the chances of survival for the baby would be slim to none he was born and died about 2-3 days later it was very sad and heartbreaking. he was very very handsome me personally I strictly don't believe in abortions but in a case like that terminating the pregnancy would be the best option

My daughter doesnt have this but other medical issies was given 1% chance living and she is 8 yrs old now and i have herd of kids making it with trismony 18 so personally i never could terminate id give the child a chamce to fighr because i seen what babies can do

Idk if I would be able too but than idk if I would be able to meet and hold baby in my arms and lose him/her so quick either way my heart would shatter
