Thoughts on elective c sections?

I'm not electively having my abdomen cut open and my guts moved around, but that's just me. I'm not against it for anyone other than myself. I don't think it's the easy way, and sure as hell don't think it makes you less of a mother. Some things are just easier for people to cope with than others, and if a c section is one of them, and you're fully informed- go for it.

I have no idea why women would elect to have major abdominal surgery. Blows my mind.

I'm not really "against" it because I really don't care what you do with your body, but it's not for me.

I wanted to plan a c section with baby #1 but was told I had to try and do it vaginally  and ended up having a c section anyway. With baby #2 I can plan it and I'm totally fine with knowing what day and time I will be bringing my little bundle of joy into the world. Recovery wasn't that bad for me but my mom was here to help.

As someone that had no choice but to have a c section, I wouldn't recommend it. But to each their own.

Whether People Are For It Or Not Sometimes It's Not Our Decision You Will Get It If The Baby Is In Danger. As In Heart Rate Dropping Etc
