breastfeeding vs bottle feeding?

So this is my second pregnancy and third baby (I have 11 year old twin boys). When they were born (at 33 weeks) I pumped for them for the first month while they were in the nicu, then bottle fed them after that. 
I'm thinking about trying to breastfeed this one once she comes but I'm so nervous for some reason! Idk if it's because I have 2 older kids that'll think it's weird, or because I'm the type to be out and about a lot and don't wanna bf in public....idk. I really wanna give it a try and I'm a sahm and there's really no reason why I can't. I just need encouragement I guess 😕

I was totally on the fence about bf before I actually gave birth... my daughter was also a preemie (34 weeks). They had me pumping right away.. and then when I went to do her cares at one point the nurses asked if I wanted to see if she would latch and I figured why not. She was digesting my pumped milk much better than formula at the time so I gave it a try. I really enjoyed just being able to feed her... and we are now at 3.5 months still nursing! I would just say try it before you rule it out. It's very challenging, but I was able to pump as well so my husband could give her bottles when I was too exhausted. Bottles and pumping is more manual labor lol... but you have to do what is right for you! I supplement now that I am back at work, and I really enjoy being able to have our special time in the morning evenings and weekends.

FTM here my son is 5 weeks old. I breastfeed and pump and bottle feed. He latched on in the hospital right away the lactation consultant said she wanted to use him for an example lol at first it was super painful. I forgot the nipple cream so they cracked and bled. It's also awesome, the fact that I get to see him grow and it's my body feeding him is crazy and amazing. The connection is different too. He knows when I enter the room, and we have our own little language. Obviously there are health benefits for him. But I don't know I can't explain it I just love it. Not to mention we don't have to worry about buying formula and heating bottles. Also, I never cared about feeding in public or in front of family. I'm feeding my child, not filming a porn. I know some women aren't comfortable but I feel like I wouldn't look at someone in a strange way for having a sandwich so why is it strange that I am feeding my kid?

I'm expecting my first so I have no experience yet, but because of just the way I feel about things.... I'm researching exclusively pumping. Maybe you could do it with this one too? From what I've read it's a lot of extra work though. 😩
