Strong need to lie on ur back?

I sleep on my back a lot.  I freaked out about it the first pregnancy and this time I have read as long as it doesn't make you sick or dizzy it's fine.  My baby is fine so far and I am due 4/10.

I sleep In a recliner most nights. Still get the sleeping on back feeling and skip the hip pain and shoulder pain and sinus congestion. I miss sleeping in same bed as hubby but it's temporary and anything for solid sleep!!

I still lay on my back. Sometimes I find it's the most comfortable. I have a lot of hip pain and laying on my sides makes it worse and my back is the only relief I can get to sleep. I don't have any trouble breathing or dizziness from it. Right now, anything that helps me sleep with is a must! I have a hard time sleeping!

I've been wondering about this as well. I was always a stomach sleeper. Laying on my sides seems to really bother my ears and my shoulders. I do find myself waking up on my back throughout the night. Currently in have my snoogle and two pillows propping me up. I haven't experience any dizziness or numbness yet.

I try not to, but often find myself waking up on my back during the night. It by far the most comfortable position for me, but it freaks me out!  I don't get dizzy or lose feeling in my legs, so I think I'm okay, but I'm going to ask my doctors about it today. I just don't want to be cutting the blood supply to my baby.

My SO woke me up one night because i was laying on my back. Lol I find it hurts my pelvis if I lay on my back too long.

I am more comfortable lying on my back, but do try to stay on one side or the other.  Some mornings my hips really hurt, so I will lay on my back for 15- 20 min, for some relief, before getting up.  I also don't get dizzy or anything when on my back.

When I do I can't breathe so no desire to now!
