Do I reschedule?

So my SO and I are supposed to have an appointment to see the baby's heartbeat on Wednesday. Well, he found out today that he and his daughter have a basketball game that night and wouldn't be able to make it. Not only is it a playoff game but he is the coach too!! I am absolutely not upset that we have to reschedule because I want to go to the game too but he still wants me to go to the appointment. He said that he's been waiting for the heartbeat and he just wants to know our baby is ok. I totally get it but I would rather him be there. The next appointment we can get is for next Monday. So do I go without him or do I change it to Monday? Both of us are so torn because we both want to be there but would rather see it sooner than later.
