my pre-pregnancy weight was about 110-112, ill be 23 weeks with my little boy on wednesday. i just found out like two days ago that gestational diabetes runs in our family. i went and seen a high risk doctor today, because when my older sister was born, the blood in her heart was running backwards instead of forwards & she had water around her heart and in her stomach, which caused her to pass. (they said that my little man is healthy and i shouldn't have to worry about anything) but when they weighed my before my ultrasound, i weigh 127. that's 15-17 pounds more than i was before pregnancy. i'm concerned that i'm gaining to much weight too quickly. i take my glucose test the 21st, but could i be gaining weight because of gestational diabetes? i've read that weight gain, thirstiness, and frequent urinate are symptoms and i have all three. maybe i'm just freaking myself out considering i'm a ftm
