Any mommies actually nest?

Question

I was in the hospital for 2 days over some contractions and bleeding. I got sent home and slept and felt great. I woke up swept, mopped, did dishes, 6 loads of laundry, cooked lunches for the kids, and gave the dogs a bath. Is this nesting? I've actually never done it during pregnancy?(:

I wash floors, walls doors, dust, laundry tidy. Nesting is things done to make you feel ready so cleaning, buying or setting up baby stuff, packing hospital bags, freezer meals etc

To me nesting isn't so much how much I did but the feeling I felt about getting things done. This past week I have felt out of my head energized to the point of feeling almost obsessive. I wouldn't describe it so much as anxiety, however, it literally feels like an uncontrollable driving force. I had moments earlier on when I thought I was nesting because of how much I was doing, however, now that I've felt this I don't think those instances were true nesting but just good days. I'm not sure how it feels for everyone else but that is the difference I noticed for myself if that makes sense.

Yup.  I did this earlier on (35-36 weeks) until I caught the cold.  That slowed me down and now I just look at my to do list and sigh.  Hahahahaha.
