Emergency Appendectomy
Had an emergency appendectomy two days ago. I'm 9 weeks pregnant. I'm hoping someone has had this experience?? I'd love to know if you had an complications after the fact. Really I'm just looking to ease my mind... this was such a crazy experience!
Doctors basically said because I'm still in my first trimester there isn't much they can do to prevent a miscarriage if it is going to occur. I just have to wait it out. Currently I'm feeling great... no spotting, cramping (other than the surgical pain), and still have pregnancy symptoms.
