Is it wong {Muslim wo(men) opinion valued}
I'd like to start off with all opinions are greatly valued, I just singled out Muslim wo(men) in the title to grasp their attention and tell me their opinion from their stand point.
Is it wrong that since I've been with my Fiancé that I no longer feel comfortable covering my hair?
It's not that he says anything about it, well actually I don't think he's ever seen me cover my hair...
He's Arab/Muslim and I'm neither of these things, I don't/didn't cover for religious reasons and I guess that plays a huge role in me not feeling comfortable doing so now that we've been together.
I don't want to offend him or his family,
for them to get the wrong idea, make him feel uncomfortable in public or for him along with others to think I'm only doing so because I'm with him (seeing none have seen me cover before).
I also wouldn't wear my covering everyday again because despite looks it's not for religion reasons.
I used to cover back then because it made me feel comfortable, confident , secure, separated me from the rest and men were less likely to approach me sexually prior to covering.
My question is
Yes, it's wrong that you don't feel comfortable covering in your relationship
(I see why but you shouldn't, feel this way)
No, it's not wrong that you feel uncomfortable in your relationship
(I see why and your right to feel it's offensive)
