can anyone recommend a tablet / the pill / implant for period cramps???

I get extremely painful period cramps and I'm desperately in need of something to help with them instead of painkillers - as they never seem to help.

I personally prefer the patch, it's easy to use and I've had little to no side effects on it! Just put a new patch on once a week for 3 weeks and then go patch free for 1 week and you're good to go! My cramps used to be so bad I couldn't walk, no joke. And my period was so heavy I was going through tampons AND a pad combined within 10 minutes or less. The patch has really helped change that for me! Good luck!

What do you mean by it would become a bit more painful? Basically my period is supposed to come the 14th march, the party is 18th and my pain does only last two days. So the pain should be away at least by 16th.. but last month when I had my period, it was five days late ... so I never know what to expect just now! It came a bit a earlier this month, though

PLEASE go to your doctor about this. We can't recommend anything because birth control affects everyone differently. Some say good things about it, others say bad things about the exact same thing; it literally won't help you.

Mefenamic acid... it's not bc but it's worked miracles for me and my cramps when nothing else worked
