scar tissue on uterus

Has anyone has this? I went to the doctor today and had a SIS test done where they insert saline into the uterus to check for complications since I have had trouble conceiving and when I did had amiscarriage. The found scar tissue and I'm going to have to have a procedure done to remove this. I believe it is called Ashermans syndrome.. what can I expect, they said I'd be put to sleep and I will have a balloon insteeed for a couple days to prevent scarring from happening again. They said ppl have a higher chance to conceive after this.
