diaphragm

 I've been thinking about contraception lately because I've recently become sexually active again after a 2 year dry spell. I know my cycle like the back of my hand and usually I just go for the fertility awareness method but it's obviously not ideal. I was thinking about getting the diaphragm and using it with spermicide. My question is can anybody who uses and has used a diaphragm tell me how it was ? Comfort and effectiveness wise ?
