Burnt Hair Smell😷

I curled my hair for my grandfather's funeral because he always thought my hair looked nice when I curled it. Anyhow, even though I drowned my hair in heat protection spray, I still managed to slightly burn my hair in the process. Is there any special stuff I can use to get rid of the nasty smell and how can I show my hair some tlc while it recovers from being burnt?
