ulcerative colitis and ovulation issues?

Anyone suffer from ulcerative colitis? I was diagnosed a year ago and then had a miscarriage last May, since then I've either stopped ovulating or ovulate extremely late in my cycle and my cycles are irregular. I'm on medication for my colitis which is safe for both before and during pregnancy. My GI doc does not think two are related, my OB says she does think there are some correlations...just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat or has struggled with fertility while suffering from colitis?
