1st ultrasound experience?

How did your 1st ultrasound experience go? I was so shocked to see my baby at 9 weeks. My baby was so actively moving it surprised me!😆

My first ultrasound experience was in the E.R. I blacked out due to dehydration and fell, hitting my face on tile floor and my arm hurt, so I must've fallen on my arm weird too. I was at class in college, started feeling like I was going to throw up, and I tried to get out ofthe class room and to the restroom down the hall to throw up in a toilet. I made it out the clasroom door to the hallway and walked two steps - then I blacked out. I woke up on the other side of the hallway, sprawled out weird with my face on the floor. A woman came out of another classroom and saw me and I was so out of it that to me it felt like from the time I woke up again to the time the paramedics got there it had been about 3 minutes. In reality it was more like 10 minutes. Apparently I was talking almost the whole time to the woman who helped me, and I remember almost none of it. I was 12 weeks pregnant at the time, due to have my first OB appointment a week or so later, and I was alone with the person who performed my ultrasound.
I checked out ok, and they gave me almost a whole bag of IV fluid just for the dehydration. My baby was perfectly fine too, and during that ultraound I couldn't help but cry. I cried like a baby. My baby was so active and wiggly and he flipped over twice, making me and the person doing the ultrasound laugh. (I
Btw, if you end up needing an ultrasound in the E.R., they don't give you copies of it. Only at regular OB ultrasounds do you get to keep pictures of your baby.) My baby is now a healthy, strong and happy 5 month old. 😊

My little bean was moving too. Our tech was amazing. She showed us exactly how it was laying and how far along we were. And i got all sappy when we heart the heartbeat.. probably the sweetest sound I've ever heard. It was great seeing the little bean. I can't wait to see it again.
