binky going away.

So my son is obsessed with the trolls. So we came up with the idea of telling him the Bergen chef is going to take his binkies and leave trolls for happiness. I'm doing it tomorrow but I don't know how I should actually do it... if I should have him put all of his binkies in a pile and when he goes to bed replace them with trolls or what. What do you guys think? He knows it's coming and he has been preparing for it.
