Acupuncture during IVF

I'm due to start our first cycle of IVF in a couple of months, and have seen a few people suggest that acupuncture could be beneficial. I've never had acupuncture and don't know much about it, or why it's supposed to help. Has anyone had it whilst going through IVF? Do you feel it helped or would you not bother if you were to do it again? (If you feel it helped, why?) Really interested to hear anyone's experiences.
