Please don't tell me to "just quit trying"

When people realize that me and my husband have been ttc for over 2 years, I normally get the same reply. "Oh honey, just quit trying. As soon as you stop you'll get pregnant. Don't waste all that money." I am SO tired of hearing that. It may have worked for you, that's great. I'm happy for you. But for me, that just doesn't work. If I just "quit trying" I don't ovulate. If I don't ovulate, then I can't have a baby! I'm just so tired of trying to explain that to people. Sorry for the rant, I just needed to vent!
