IUD?? please help

I'm switching birth controls soon and i am in need of some personal experiences because I'm really nervous! 
I'm currently on LOLO bc pills, but my doctor told me that I should go on IUD. Does anyone have any personal stories or experiences? Anything would help me.

Why is your dr telling you to switch? Are you having a problem with LOLO pills or having trouble remembering to take them? If you answered no to those questions then there's no reason to switch birth control methods. If it's not broken, it doesn't need to be fixed

Just have to be aware that it will effect everyone differently some have great experiences with it others not so much. I have and iud and I love it I haven't had any negative effects from it and my body is now  pretty much regulated to my iud now. It doesn't hurt going in at least it didn't for me others have said it hurts. Ultimately just gotta give it a shot and go from their.
