my birth story 💙
I never thought it would finally be my turn to write my birth story but here i am. after almost 11 hours of labor, on february 16th at 6:18 pm, God blessed me with the most beautiful miracle in the entire world. 7-1.4 pounds, and 20 inches long. hands down the best thing ive ever done in my 20 year old life. i'm so overwhelmed with all kinds of different emotions right now. i started out with mild contractions and they gave me pitocin to make them more stronger. everything was going good until they broke my water at 7cm and then my contractions intensified by atleast three times so I got the epidural. I continued to labor for about 2-3 more hours and finally I was able to push. I pushed for an hour and a half, we kept having a hard time because the baby's heart rate kept dropping very low. Finally after enduring the most painful thing ever, my baby boy entered the world. But he was blue. He has his umbilical chord wrapped around his neck. Scariest minute of my life. So thankful for this little nugget and I would do it all over again, he is so incredibly perfect.
