PSA**public service announcement**
Atleast once a day, if not more. I see a woman or women, saying that they've contracted an STI/STD. Lately it's been chamydia, herpes and genital warts.
I started becoming sexually active at 14, which is a very young age. And between the ages of 14-16 I slept with 10-12 people whose ages varied from 14-25. In that time I slept with two men without a condom. Two! One of which is my fiancé. The other I was dating for awhile (he was 25, I was 15/16). I got put on birth control at 14. And every man I slept with (aside from the two) used condoms. Do you know how many STD/STIs I caught? Zero! I had a couple yeast infections (mostly from antibiotics, and I had one bacterial infection, and that was from the 25 year old I slept with without a condom.
Ladies, condoms protect against more than just pregnancy! They are a vital part of protecting your sexual and reproductive health. If he doesn't have them, keep some In your purse/car, nightstand, bookbag, anywhere! If he "doesn't like them" don't let him enter you. If you're allergic, buy latex free. They make condoms in all shapes and sizes and colours and flavours and designs. Take your health into your own hands!
And I am by no means judging, I know they aren't 100% and i don't care if you want to sleep with one person or 100! I just want you all to be protected and safe from these easily preventable infections and diseases.
