34 weeks being induced! epidural or no?

I'm so so scared of needles.. I have always been.. almost to the point where I don't care about what pain my body causes I don't want any needles.. any suggestions? Is it painful at all? What can help with a natural birth ? My water broke at 32 weeks and I've been in the hospital ever since. Anything and everything will be helpful!

I had my baby girl at 34 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia. I was in labor for a few hours. Seemed like forever though. Both my kids were very quick labor and delivery. I wanted the epidural with my 2nd baby so when they got there I was in full active labor. The anesthesiologist finally got there to do the epidural. And she was already crowning. So in the middle of doing it he stopped and taped me up. I never got the epidural but he still punctured my back. I felt the needle and all! So I lay back and one push and she was out. All natural. It really isn't that bad at all to go naturally. After I got discharged I had a severe headache! I would deliver naturally any day than deal with that type of headache again! I went back to the hospital and they said since he still punctured my spine,I had a spinal leak. They had to patch it with my blood with doing an epidural type needle. I don't wish that pain on anybody. Everybody is different with pain though

You might get to the point where you just are in so much pain, you won't care . I didn't even feel anything , I just wanted the pain to stop

I think you should just go in with an open mind. If the pain is too much, I think you can't even feel the needle then my all means get an epidural.  If you feel like you can endure the pain, then by all means skip it.  Just go in with an open mind and you will be fine!  :)

My contractions from being induced were so terrible that I didn't even notice the needle go in

You dont feel the needle once your in full active labor ...it didnt work at all for me i just wanted it cause i was so sick!!! But yeah it dodnt numb me at all

All i felt was a little sting and thats cuz i was hunched over the bed having a contraction at the same time n nurse was holding me down as well
