Depo shot or pill ??

I need help with this. I've never been on BC and I need advice , I know it's different with everyone but what's the most common symptoms I guess ?? What's better the pill or the shot ??

I've gotten the depo shot twice before and honestly it was the worst decision of my life. Just get the pills.

DO NOT DO THE SHOT!

I had a horrrrrrible experience. 
I've had the implant and the shot.. Both sucked but the shot was way worse.

I gained 30 pounds in those 3 months.. And I've always been a petite, healthy smaller person.. But the second I went on the shot I blew up like a tick..

Also, my hair started falling out and thinned out really bad. 
I also developed skin rashes all over my body and had bad acne which I've never had in my life..

But I've tried a bunch of different birth controls and they all gave me similar side effects.. (Doctors finally told me I shouldn't use birth control).. So I'm a little bias.. But I feel like the shot is just bad news.

Never anything but the pill for me. If I have a bad reaction to my birth control, I can just stop taking it and be better the next day. If you have the depo shot, there's literally nothing you can do about the side effects because they'll be there the entire 3 years it last. Hell nah bruh

I know the shot works for a lot of people, but it had HORRIBLE effects on me. No sex drive, severe emotional issues, thinning hair, night sweats, vaginal dryness, acne... (My mother was recommending OTC remedies she used during menopause to get me through few months)

Depo Shot causes infertility issues for alot of women, do some research. I did it once and gained weight then started researching infertility stories after the depo and immediately switched to nexplanon(which I LOVE)
