coloring your hair??

Question

I am 15 weeks and was told by friends to not color my hair again till the second trimester. I usually box dye blonde so I'm not sure how I feel about the bleach. My roots look horrible and I want to go ahead and color it but definitely nervous as this is my first pregnancy.  Any advice??

You're fine to dye your hair at any point in pregnancy. As long as you're in a well ventilated area.

No effects or damage to baby. :)

Think about it, hair stylists still have to make a living and they do hair all throughout pregnancy and they have healthy babies.

I've heard different things too! I think it's more the chemicals in the air that you will breath in, so if your desperate then just make sure you've got the windows open and wear a mask. I need to do mine but I don't know for certain. X

You may want to look in to what bleach does to your hair while pregnant.. I didn't and now have orange hair lol and it was blonde to start with I just wanted it a little lighter I even used ash blonde and still very brassy, my mom said same thing happened to her when she was pregnant.  I don't know why and have no sources but my own experience but best of luck lol

Amonia free is best. Frieria makes an amonia free blonde (platinium) that didn't change my hair tones at all(:
