TV in baby's room?

My husband really wants a tv in the baby's room but I'm leaning against it. Just curious what other people are doing, thanks!

The time spent rocking/feeding your baby should be a bonding time..not a chore that needs to be muted out by a tv...plus the lighting from the tv being on during those times can affect the baby's eyes. I wouldn't even consider it in my nursery..

I don't believe in having TVs in bedrooms at all but a baby is way way way too young.

My husband wants one too. I think it takes away from the innocence of nursery and I told him no. He wants to watch NCIS and rock him apparently 😂

We have one in the babies room because it was his big brothers room and there is no where else to put it. Don't know if it will get used at all until he's older. There are some cute things on Netflix though that came be turned on during play/tummy time that he can listen to. We also have lots of videos with music that he can listen to.

We have one in the baby's room because we didn't want to throw it away plus our cameras are connected to that tv. But baby won't be using it for a long while. My MIL has one in her baby's room and the baby loves it to put her to sleep and she's a year and a half.

We had a tv in that room before it became our sons room. I've used it to listen to music or play videos as I organize his room!  He will be sleeping in our room for 6 months or longer and we aren't planning on having the tv on too much with him besides to play music for him. But we aren't moving it out of the room!

You can suggest holding off on buying the tv until late this year to see if your husband really feels he needs it. Since baby will be in your room the first few months and after, probably won't spend much time in his room unless he's sleeping or being fed, your husband might realize the tv is unnecessary.

I wouldn't. We don't have a TV in our bedroom either, but I will use my iPad Pro in bed if I have something to do or cant sleep for some reason (Netflix, reading, web surfing, drawing, etc.).
