Positions to sleep when 6 months pregnant?

I usually go to sleep to my right side and I wake up in my back, I've told my Dr. and she told me that doesn't mind and it's worse to be sleeping on your right side so now I sleep on the left side. 
Which side is better? How much time are you supposed to lay on your back that is safe? I'm a little confused and I can't seem to find a comfortable position to sleep lately!

Don't stress too much about it. Focus on being comfortable. If you are fit and healthy, the chances of you pinching the vena cava to the point that you lose blood supply are pretty low. I sleep mainly on my right side, as that's what's comfortable, but I also sleep on my left and wake on my back.

However I'm comfortable. It's usually different every night depending on if my back is goving me issues or hips are hurting, baby's position, etc. I wouldnt think too mich into the "correct" way to sleep. Just get comfy.

Sleeping on your left side is best. It's safe to sleep on your back just as long as you're comfortable. I slept mostly on my back my whole pregnancy. It's what was the most comfortable to me. & I slept half on my left side, half on my stomach til I gave birth.

I'm almost 6 months and I still sleep on my stomach n at times back. I can't sleep on my side it's not comfortable to me and hurts my hips.

I've heard the right side is supposed to increase blood flow! (But that could be the left side...) I sleep on my right side 😂😂 but idk what you're supposed to do.

My doc said to try to stray from sleeping on right side. I sleep on my left and use one of the pregnancy body pillows under my side and between legs to help with comfortability
