his nieces were taken into foster care
I have no one else to talk to about this and I feel like I am going to explode.
Do to unfortunate choices made by my s/o's sister, her children were placed into the foster care system a few days ago. We cannot take them and there is no one else in the family who is willing or able. So they are just gone.
He is understandably overcome with emotions right now and I do not know what to do. I want to give him space but I do not want him to feel like he is alone. I also do not know how to find them so they could at least get phone calls or letters. His pain is so palpable it's breaking my heart.
