Is it wrong to get someone something for mothers/fathers day if the child is not yet born? Like we're due in July but I want to know if it's wrong to get him something for fathers day and vice versa for mothers day.

My boyfriend and I did that. Nothing big or anything but a card and he got me flowers and a little gift. I got him some gifts too.

I wouldnt say its "wrong" but i wouldnt/didnt personally do it. Only because to me mother and fathers day is about the children (and partner) appreciating the parent as a parent, its about showing each other what a good parent you think each other is and giving them a treat from the normal day to day lives. In my opinion you havent "earnt" that yet because you haven't had to do anything. And i didnt class my self as a mum until she was born but thats just my opinion.. if you want to do something then do it what other peoples opinions are dont matter 😊
