How early can you find out the gender of your baby? Will those private 3D sonogram people tell you earlier if you pay for it? Wanting to do the Gender reveal party during Easter when my stepson is in town but I will be cutting it close if I don't find out til my 18 week appt.

Blood results at 12/13 weeks are usually the earliest. As for ultrasounds, the most accurate gender reading will be around 29 weeks. Between 12-16ish weeks, both genders have a nub and it is impossible to find out for sure. I know so many moms who have been told one gender around 14-16 weeks just be told at their anatomy scan that the first guess was incorrect.

15 weeks at 3D/4D. Any earlier and the parts look too similar to be accurate. Even at 15 weeks they aren't always right. The only absolute way to know early is a blood test

I had my private scan at 16 weeks, I'm sure you can get one sooner like 14 weeks.  Check with the place.
