How do you make labor start??

Hello - I haven't reached my due date quite yet and I have about a week to go but I am just curious what some of you ladies have been doing to go into labor? I went to the dr Thurs which was disappointing because he said I was "very very closed" so I am just curious if anyone has any tips on how to get things started. Thanks in advance!

Walking (an hour or more a day), squats, bouncing on my yoga ball, raspberry leaf tea, etc.
 
Dancing is great too 😜. These all help prepare your body though.

Acupuncture and acupressure! I'm convinced it got my body ready because I was also not engaged and very high closed cervix when I first started going at just over 38 weeks. Afte 4 appointments I'm now in the hospital waiting for my baby boy to come!
