Let me just say I love rap and hiphop, it is my generation,  my culture we defined it and made it. Now I'm going to sound like an old person but today's music is NOT rap and hiphop; it is nothing other than commercialized music. Real rap and hiphop had soul, not like today's music about how many Bugattis and Lambos you have or whose booty is bigger, but real rap and hip hop was meant to be political, it had feeling, it used to educate it would expand a young persons mind to consider things and understand things. Real rap came from the heart and from the struggle  Even gangster rap used to be about something. Most music today is commercialized it's a joke it's literally about nothing they let the bass make the song rather than the lyrics. Which I love bass but bass doesn't make the music.
