So I had always dreamed of my mom being in the room with me while I'm in labor.. recently when I brought it up to hubby, he says he wants to share that moment with only me, and feels it's an intimate moment between husband and wife. I see his point of view, but also feel like the decision is mostly mine since I'll be the one giving birth. My mom is good at keeping me focused and calm, whereas hubby sometimes panics when I'm in pain. He won't budge, says she can't be in room. Thoughts?
