Ive been having severe heartburn constantly . My doc suggested pepcid. Its the only thing that gives me relief.

Zantac. 150 mg morning and night (that's for severe heartburn). If you chose Tums you have to watch how many you eat as they can cause kidney stones

I have had it since my 2nd trimester and have been prescribed zantac and pepcid because I was eating tums like candy and waking up in the middle of the night gagging on acid. They have worked miracles, but also limiting fatty, and spicy foods helped. I couldn't do milk products cause the lactic acid helped at first but then would make it twice as bad. :(  Good luck!

Tums, drink milk, or eat some ice cream. I've had it awful. :(
